Through it's subsidiaries, Bentley operates as a propane provider for commercial, residential and industrial applications in Texas. Our service area stretches from the deep South of the Rio Grande Valley across central Texas and up into the Hill Country. In addition to the well known and widely utilized individual "bottle" application, Bentley offers "Community Gas Systems" that provide propane to an entire neighborhood from a single tank positioned in a secluded location.

Sonterra Energy was established to provide LP-Gas distribution systems for residential and commercial developments in the Central Texas area. Sonterra provides gas service to homes in new developments by constructing a "Centralized Propane Distribution" system. This system consists of a central tank(s), main distribution lines, service lines to the lots, yard lines to the houses, pressure reducing regulators at the houses, and a meter to record the usage of gas. Sonterra designs, constructs, operates and owns these systems. Sonterra maintains everything from the tank to the meter on the house. The individual homeowner will own and maintain everything from the downstream side of the meter into their house.

Lone Star Propane was created to supply propane service for residential and commercial customers in the South Texas area. Lone Star provides gas service to new and existing customers by installing and servicing propane tanks at individual home and commercial sites, including restaurants and RV parks. Lone Star designs, constructs, installs, services and owns these tanks. These propane tanks (or bottles) can be refilled at any licensed Lone Star retail refilling station or they can also be refilled on site via Lone Star bobtail transport trucks. The tanks are leased from Lone Star on a yearly basis and the lessees are required to use Lone Star propane to fill the tanks. This provides our customers with a trusted propane supplier they can rely on.
